How much does it cost? That's usually one of the first questions we get from business managers wanting a new website. It's a bit like asking "How long is a piece of string?", but with structure and direction the answers emerge.  Here we'll try explain how we price a job and why you pay what you'll pay when you engage our team.

 

Like the businesses they represent, websites are not all created equal. Websites serve various purposes, feature different technology and therefore they can vary greatly in cost as the level of design and functionality increases and becomes more complex to suit your company’s needs.

Our hourly rate is $120. All of our pricing is based on this hourly rate, our overall costs (wages + overhead) and the long-term costs of properly communicating and supporting our clients.

This hourly rate can vary from $30 to $200 per hour, and all depends on the experience and quality that each company delivers with each hour spent on your project. Web design costs will usually be determined based on the estimated number of hours that will be spent on your site’s design, development, and maintenance. For this reason, it is important to have a good idea of the features that you would like for your site to include and where you will be obtaining your site’s content before getting a website cost estimate.

Pricing considerations

  • Based on our hourly rate.
  • Include planning, design, programming, marketing setup and launch.
  • Will be mobile/tablet-responsive making your site suitable for desktop and mobile devices (to an effective, functional level, this can get quite complex and costly).
  • Built with a CMS framework to empower non-technical staff to edit most areas of the website  themselves.
  • Clients will provide all text, digital graphics and branding content (body copy, product, team images).
  • Will include some standard 3rd party tools like Google Analytics, Google Maps, etc.
