Kiwi TV was a leading edge TV streaming service built by Stream Interactive to service expat New Zealanders living in Australia. We look back at a decade old project that preceded the likes of Lightbox, Netflix and other on-demand platforms.

Parkside Towbars are an established supplier of towbars and outdoor lifestyle accessories based in Western Australia. They currently have two brick and mortar stores that service the Perth area. Expanding their product offer to the online environment was the next logical step but required integration with their powerful ERP system, Syteline. A challenge all too familiar for the team at Stream Interactive.

The team at Medical Technology Association of NZ (MTANZ) manage a key industry conference for the medical technology industry. Stream was involved in providing the conference website and a system to allow for multiple registrations.

We provide proposals for all sorts of membership organisations, and we've noticed some have simple membership structures and rules, while some have very complex ones. Here's a summary of two ends of the scale.

Sauvarins Glass is an Auckland based glazing company that has been a presence in the New Zealand glazing industry for over 80 years. Sauvarins have the capability to undertake a range of glazing projects, with a proven track record in larger scale commercial work, residential new-builds, insurance claims and retrofit Double Glazing. A new website needed to portray this and at the same time generate new sales leads via email and direct phone contact.

Launched in 1988 the iconic Buy NZ Made campaign is about to celebrate 30 years in existence. They now have a new website and an online store to showcase their campaign, and manage their membership requirements.

Masterspec is New Zealand's market leader in supporting Architects, designers and Engineers with writing construction specifications. These are comprehensive documents which describe every building material that will be used in a construction project, including setting out how they will be handled and detailing how they are to be installed. The issue of legal liability has become increasingly relevant, particularly evidenced from the 'leaky building' disasters. This makes the specification documents incredibly important as they are central to legal contracts that are intended to define trusted process which designers, councils and tradesman can all depend on. Delivery of these support services has evolved from use of Microsoft Word templates distributed via CD to the current collection of novel and powerful tools, all delivered 100% online.

Stream Interactive was approached to deliver an e-commerce website with a bespoke product catalogue, including customer and online order handling that would directly connect with an offshore ERP system. The project Vision was: “Rebuild the Trailcom website to make full product catalog information readily available over all modern devices. Establish e-commerce, including integration with the parent company ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner) system to support real-time customer pricing and order fulfillment. Lay a platform for extended future development.”

In 2000 a researcher needed to survey a large number of students throughout New Zealand, and was ready to explore new technologies to be more effective. Together with Stream Interactive a plan was hatched and the digital world began. Since then the Stream SURVEY system has been used to run an "online" offline survey.... He's back now for the fourth time, and times have certainly changed...

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) supports their industry with ongoing professional development. Their Registered Continuing Education Programme (RCEP) is entirely run through a web solution developed by Stream in 2010. It targets Engineers, Architects and Surveyors, giving a central resource for them to find and record their continuing education, and then to report their achievements to their various US State Licensing Boards so they can retain their professional licenses. It also supports the education providers with delivery of learning offers, and employers with managing staff needs.
