World cup game adds magic to successful 2019 tournament

15 Nov 2019

For New Zealanders the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan didn't exactly live up to their expectations with the All Blacks eventually finishing 3rd overall. Old foes South Africa and England fought for the World title with the Springboks taking it all with a commanding 32 - 12 victory.

Smiles were still plentiful however for participants in one of our TEAMBUILDER fantasy rugby games. Punters enjoyed another level of excitement by predicting the scores of each game in the tournament. No easy task with a number of upsets adding to the fun.

Players also needed to 'keep up' with the action as the tournament unfolded so that they wouldn't miss a scoring round. Thanks to regular news updates and reminders from the game commissioner everyone had an equal chance to lay down their best guess.

Up for grabs were some awesome prizes which kept everyone enrolled into the buzz of the competition. On offer were:

  • Weekly prizes for highest score
  • Spot prize (or random prize)
  • Prizes for winners within company branches
  • Overall grand prizes for highest scores - 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Which included overseas travel, fishing trips and electronics
Game Prizes

This was a well-run competition that was fully managed by an external game commissioner, they did a fantastic job, making this one of the most successful games that we've been involved in.

Client: Preferred to be kept anonymous
