PD able, the easy way to track your CPD
After 2 years of planning, architecting, researching, designing, programming and testing, a dedicated team of specialist at Stream Interactive have released the first version of PD able, a SaaS (Software as a Service) product that will change the way that you record, track and report on your CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
The development of this software has been a long-time dream of Stream's directors, Bruce Timmins and Jim Griffiths who have been building CPD tracking systems for large organisations for many years. These systems have proven to be very effective, but they are better suited to organisations that also require a CRM, membership tools, event system, survey system, online learning capability and everything else that the streamSWEET platform can accommodate.
The need
In recent times, requests for a standalone CPD system have increased, mainly from small to medium-sized businesses, associations, schools, and also from individuals who just want to record their activities in an online diary. Therefore, back in 2020 the team at Stream set out to develop software that could fulfil this need.
The process has been very thorough and detailed, right down to the creative design and branding, through to the execution of the website interface and backend system. It's taken all of our 20+ years of experience to get this software over the line, ensuring that it meets the highest standards, and that it aligns with the needs of the intended users.
Phase 1
This is Phase 1 of a multi-phase development regime that will likely keep evolving as it grows and becomes more popular. Upgrades and improvements are happening on a daily basis with some big ticket items soon to be integrated.
Currently PD able caters for individuals wanting to record their professional development activity, and for businesses that want to manage their staff's CPD. In Phase 2, the ability to add a Professional Development system will be included. This will offer a very powerful set of tools to anyone who manages or oversees a PD system.
This will be a game-changer for everyone in the Professional Development space. If you want to try it out, please sign up and have a go. We'd love to hear your feedback.
