It's estimated that 63% of US customer product searches start on Amazon… NOT Google!

Finally Apple is going to sell spare parts and provide help on how to fix some of it's products. This is a huge boost to those in the 'Right to Repair Movement' who have been actively pressuring Apple for years to be more sustainable.

3. Depop

Have you heard of the Social Shopping app that teens are flocking to... so they can sell their (or your) retro gears for a profit? This new type of thrift store only charges a 10% fee and encourages sellers to graduate up to becoming a 'Top Seller'. Top sellers get more promotion in the app and better support from Depop.

4. Pandemic a boost for online sales

Yes COVID 19 has pushed up the need for online sales but consumers still prefer the 'physical' element in their purchasing journey. Really? Yes according to this report compiled by Uberall and MomentFeed.

5. Virtual shopping - AR - Deep fake technology

Remember being 'that boyfriend', the one getting dragged into shop after shop… having to comment on each outfit that your girlfriend was trying on! OMG there has to be another way? There is, check out where SnapChat is taking virtual shopping, finally someone is developing new tech that can really make a huge difference in our lives… haha!

Yes it's a thing, people are now hiring parents and grandparents for the family feel. Japan is leading the way in 'Family Romance' where you can hire surrogates from infants to the elderly.
